Lynda.com training videos are available to current CCA students, faculty, and staff through a campus license. This includes using Lynda.com in your mobile browser, and using the iOS / Android app.
On your mobile browser
If you are using a mobile device that does not use Android or iOS, or do not want to download the app, you can access Lynda.com through your mobile web browser.
NOTE: Firefox for Android does not work with lynda.com. If you are using an Android device, you should access lynda.com through Google Chrome, or download the Lynda app from the Play Store.
Eductional Technology Services (ETS) also offers the Lynda.com Online Training Library (OTL) to all current faculty, students and staff.
This library includes over 820 online courses and 42,000 tutorials covering numerous titles including Microsoft Office, Adobe CS, Apple software and our course management system, Moodle. Our subscription to the Lynda.com OTL service is accessible via the web from any computer, on- or off-campus.
CCA libraries' collections focus mainly on art and design - but several of our online databases contain a broad range of subjects, including the physical, natural and social sciences. These databases contain articles from magazines, newspapers, scholarly journals, and trade journals, much of it readable online.
When accessing the databases from off campus, you will be asked to input your CCA credentials.
