learn about what Open Access (OA) is, why it's great, where you can find OA resources, & how you can contribute to OA content yourself

The Faculty Research Collection

Did you that CCA has its very own open access repository? It's the Faculty Research Collection in VAULT. You can contribute your own research to it by following the instructions below.

Sign in to VAULT using your CCA username and password.

Select Contribute from the main menu on the left, then Faculty Research from the list of collections (towards the bottom).

Fill in the citation information for your publication. Currently only Articles and Book Chapters can be uploaded.

Upload your publication by clicking the green Add a resource button underneath the File section.

Once you've completed the contribution form, select the green Save button. If you filled in all the required fields, you will be able to use the green Publish button to complete the upload.

Spread the Word!

Let your colleagues know about the Faculty Research collection! The more people depositing their research, the better.

You can also join the library for our Open Access Week festivities! The libraries typically do something each October to celebrate Open Access, including in-library displays and events.
